Our History

The family company Krämer+Grebe has decades of experience in pattern and tool manufacturing to fall back on. Both its customers and business partners profit from its expertise in processing world-class steels and plastics. Close dimensional tolerances, a high level of surface quality, thermal and mechanical stability under load and complex contours for tools are the quality features that Krämer+Grebe has to offer.

Fritz Krämer was the one who laid the foundations for all of this in 1922 when he established his pattern and tool manufacturing plant.

Together with his son-in-law, the mechanical engineer Ludwig Grebe, the company they founded was called Krämer+Grebe Maschinen- und Modellfabrik in 1942. Since 1981, it has had its address on Ludwig-Grebe-Strasse while pattern building has been made into a unit legally independent from the machine shop.
